The Poisonous Empress of a General’s Family is an adaptation of the popular historical web novel Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage by Qian Shan Cha Ke. The project has been the subject of casting rumors for years, with several famous names such as Tan Jianci, Dylan Wang, and Zhao Lusi being linked to it over time.
On October 24, another rumor surfaced on Weibo claiming that Dilraba Dilmurat had declined an offer to star in the drama. One Weibo user wrote, “I heard Dilraba Dilmurat turned down The Poisonous Empress of a General’s Family. No matter the outcome, she’s always smart about her script choices! The story revolves around Shen Miao, the daughter of a strict and disciplined military family.
