LayarHijau – The mysterious death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong, who fell from a building last month at the age of 37, continues to stir speculation. Although police initially classified the incident as an “accidental fall,” a flood of online leaks and conspiracy theories has kept the public guessing. Now, the internet is once again in turmoil after shocking rumors emerged claiming that Yu Menglong’s mother has also passed away after life-saving efforts failed.

The rumor was spread by an online personality known as “Lao Deng,” who claimed in a recent video that he had “received confirmation from multiple sources” that Yu Menglong’s mother was hospitalized after an alleged suicide attempt and ultimately died despite medical efforts. Lao Deng even hinted at a possible conspiracy behind her supposed death. However, this claim has not been officially confirmed by any credible source, World Journal reported.

About half an hour after the story went viral, the social media account @loveyourself9745 posted a statement debunking the rumor:

“Rumor debunked: It has been confirmed that Yu Menglong’s mother is safe. She has indeed gone through a major change in her life and is currently unwell both physically and mentally. I cannot reveal how I verified this. Those spreading rumors should not feel guilty if they can so confidently twist the truth.”

The post quickly went viral, gaining over a thousand likes and hundreds of comments and reposts. Many netizens expressed relief, saying, “Finally, I can breathe again,” and “I hope his mother takes care of herself and finds peace.”

Since Yu Menglong’s passing, social media has been flooded with speculation — including leaked audio and video clips allegedly showing him being abused, live broadcasts that appeared to be cries for help, and even claims that he was murdered. However, none of these claims have been verified, and the circumstances surrounding Yu Menglong’s death remain clouded in uncertainty and doubt.
