LayarHijau– Chinese rising actor Zi Yu has once again become the center of public attention after gossip media reported that he was seen visiting a female netizen named “Paris梨lii” nearly every day from July 13 to 19. According to the report, Zi Yu arrived at her residence every morning, stayed overnight, and was even spotted hanging her laundry in the middle of the night.
The gossip outlet questioned, “You two were still together just four days ago—why didn’t you mention that in your statements?” and added, “You looked so sweet together just four days ago. Why did your ‘sister-in-law’ suddenly block you and cut off all contact?”
In response, Paris梨lii reposted the article and expressed confusion: “What on earth are you doing? Oh my God!” She confirmed that she had broken up with Zi Yu on July 23 and admitted that the photo circulating online was indeed of Zi Yu riding a bike to see her while they were still in a relationship.
“When I came from Macau, his agent did warn us not to meet before the end of August. But later Zi Yu himself told me he wouldn’t stop seeing me—he couldn’t bear the distance. Since his home had been occupied by SS, I returned to Beijing. He would usually bike or walk here alone whenever he felt it was safe,” she wrote.
In another post, Paris梨lii clarified that she did not speak out due to a fight. “I didn’t come forward because of a fight. I haven’t told a single lie. On the night of July 24, Zi Yu finally issued his own statement through social media. Addressing the leaked chat in which he said he wanted “to earn enough in these two months to pay off 600,000 yuan,” he wrote:
“Paying off my debts is my biggest wish in life. Due to my upbringing and personal background, I tend to have low expectations when it comes to the ups and downs of life. That’s why I said something so irresponsible. I’m sorry for letting everyone down.”
He clarified that the relationship with Paris梨lii had been a normal romantic relationship, and that he is now single. “Once again, I sincerely apologize to everyone. I’m sorry!”
Shortly afterward, Zi Yu’s manager also shared a statement through her personal social media account. She confirmed that Zi Yu is currently single, has not cheated, and is not romantically involved with anyone on his team. She added that the team member who was previously linked only joined at the end of June.
The manager stated that she hopes the artist’s personal matters will no longer be put under public scrutiny. She closed her message by saying that the team is currently focused on fulfilling existing commitments and actively pursuing new opportunities.
