The hashtag related to Bai Jingting’s new drama features the concept of a time loop, prompting Weibo users to recall his earlier series, Reset, in which he starred alongside Zhao Jinmai.
Although Reset and Mobius tell different stories with distinct characters, both dramas fall under the science fiction genre and explore themes of time repetition. In his new drama, Bai Jingting plays a detective with the unique ability to rewind time up to five times.

In this series, he will share the screen with Janice Man and Song Yang. While Mobius will be available on iQiyi, the release schedule and number of episodes have yet to be announced. Weibo users are expressing their excitement to watch the drama when it airs.
Mobius is based on the novel “Ni Shi Zhen Cha Zu” (逆时侦查组) by Zhang Xiao Mao. In the series, Bai Jingting portrays the main character, Lu Tian Feng. In a specific time and space, detective Lu Tian Feng accidentally discovers that he has the ability to reverse time and relive the same day five times. He uses this superpower to solve many challenging cases.
One day, a murder notice from suspect X suddenly appears. Several previous cases involving suspect X’s flawless methods raise Lu Tian Feng’s suspicions: X seems to possess the same time loop superpower.
The investigation team, led by Lu Tian Feng, joins the case. During the inquiry, Lu Tian Feng uncovers increasing doubts surrounding a particular genetic research group. As the investigation deepens, more individuals become involved, including those close to Lu Tian Feng.
