However, on June 13, Snow took to social media to deny rumors that she had visited the Yue Lao Temple (月老殿), a well-known site where people pray to the Chinese God of Love. According to a report by Sohu, she clarified, “I went to the Fire God Temple (火神庙) to pray for wealth. How could that be Yue Lao? I didn’t make any wish adjustment!”
Still, netizens weren’t entirely convinced. Online guides suggest that the Fire God Temple complex includes six smaller temples that should be visited in a clockwise direction—and the final stop is indeed the Yue Lao Temple. This has led to speculation that Snow might have passed by or even offered a prayer at the love temple, even if her main intention was financial prosperity.
To clarify, the Yue Lao Temple (月老殿) is traditionally where people pray for true love or stronger relationships. In contrast, the Fire God Temple (火神庙) is often visited by those hoping for good fortune and career success, as fire symbolizes energy and transformation in Chinese culture.
