Zhao Lusi Announces a “New Beginning,” Parts Ways With Galaxy Cool Entertainment

LayarHijau – Zhao Lusi has officially announced her return to the entertainment industry, marking a new chapter in her career. On November 8, the official Zhao Lusi Studio account on Weibo released a heartfelt statement, signaling the actress’s comeback after nearly a year away from the spotlight.

The studio’s post read:

“On the night before meeting under the starry sky, a lamp was lit — the first one for her.

In Love’s Ambition, she is Xu Yan — finding direction in confusion, rising from setbacks, and bravely walking toward her own light.

And in real life, she is Zhao Lusi — constantly breaking her own limits through every role, staying true to her passion for acting, and proving through her actions the dedication and sense of responsibility of a young actress.

The appearance of Xu Yan has become not only another shining medal in her career, but also a light illuminating the road ahead.

We treasure every memory from the past, and from this moment, we are setting the lights and music for a new beginning.

Today marks the long-awaited reunion — an encounter about love.

May everyone, whether at the venue or far away, feel the warmth and beauty of this moment.

From the bottom of our hearts, we simply wish to stand by you on every stage of life.”

Shortly after the post went live, fans noticed that the official Zhao Lusi Studio account had removed the label “Galaxy Cool Entertainment (银河酷娱)” from its Weibo profile. On the platform, this label indicates an artist’s association with an MCN (Multi-Channel Network) — a digital management entity that promotes and monetizes talent across social media platforms. Its removal suggests that Zhao Lusi is no longer affiliated with Galaxy Cool Entertainment.

However, the studio’s account did not reveal whether Zhao Lusi has signed with a new management company. Chinese entertainment outlets have speculated that she might collaborate with major firms such as Whale Culture or Tiger Whale Entertainment, both linked to Youku. As of now, though, no official statement has been made by either Zhao Lusi or her studio.

Born on November 9, 1998, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, Zhao Lusi is widely known for her roles in hit dramas such as Phoenix Prisoner, Oh! My Emperor, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, The Long Ballad, Who Rules the World, Love Like the Galaxy, Gen Z, Hidden Love, The Last Immortal, and Love’s Ambition.

In December 2024, while filming Lover, Zhao Lusi reportedly suffered from health issues and was seen using a wheelchair for medical treatment. Her studio later announced a suspension of all work activities. She was later diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety due to long-term overwork and stress.

In August 2025, Zhao Lusi made an emotional post on her personal Weibo account, accusing Galaxy Cool Entertainment of mistreatment and unfair treatment. She later shut down her account with a brief message, “I can’t do this anymore.” Since then, all official updates regarding her career have been released through her studio’s verified account.

With the latest statement, Zhao Lusi appears ready to move forward — stronger, healthier, and with renewed determination. Fans across China and abroad have warmly welcomed what many call the “new beginning” of the beloved actress.
