LayarHijau – The drama Love in the Clouds (入青云) officially concluded on November 2, 2025. Following the broadcast of its final episode, lead actor Hou Minghao shared a heartfelt message to say goodbye to the character he portrayed, Ji Bozai.
In his post, Hou Minghao wrote, “The story of Love in the Clouds begins with a gamble of winning and losing, and ends in mutual victory. Ji Bozai risked everything and ultimately found sincerity.”

He added that Ji Bozai’s journey started in loneliness and darkness, but destiny still allowed him the chance to rediscover love. Hou Minghao admitted it was difficult to part with a character who accompanied him throughout the months of filming.
“Fate toyed with him, giving him a tragic beginning, yet still left room for him to reclaim love. I feel fortunate to have accompanied him on this journey. When the time comes to say goodbye, it feels incredibly hard. That lonely Ji Bozai won’t be alone forever.”
The 1997-born actor also expressed gratitude to viewers who supported the drama. He mentioned reading many fan comments and discussions, feeling deeply moved by how fully they understood and cherished Ji Bozai.
“Thank you all for truly loving this drama and sharing so many thoughts while watching it. I’ve read many viewer discussions and feel that Ji Bozai has once again been understood. And thank you for lifting his story with all your heart. Ji Bozai will feel your sincerity. With you all, it’s truly wonderful.”
In the closing part of his message, Hou Minghao hinted that Ji Bozai is no longer alone, especially after his romantic journey with Ming Yi—the female lead played by Lu Yuxiao—became a key emotional thread of the show.
“Hey, now that Wu Guihai is no longer silent, Ji Bozai won’t be lonely anymore. Every day from now on will be ‘Today, truly wonderful.’”
Love in the Clouds features strong chemistry between Hou Minghao and Lu Yuxiao as the lead actors. The drama’s conclusion has left a deep impression—not only on its viewers but also on Hou Minghao, who now bids farewell to a character that has become so dear to him.
