LayarHijau – Chinese actress Zhao Lusi has once again found herself in the spotlight after going live several times in recent days to speak about her past experiences with former agency Galaxy Cool Entertainment. Her remarks came after the company released a statement on August 12 denying that she had ever been subjected to physical violence or verbal abuse. The agency’s clarification prompted Zhao to publicly recount her version of events in detail.
Speaking in a livestream on August 13, Zhao rejected the “no beating” claim, revealing that after failing to land a role, she was scolded in a bathroom for three hours. As she was leaving, a drunken staff member allegedly chased her, pulled her hair, and slapped her.
According to Zhao, the incident took place around 4 a.m. The next morning at about 7 a.m., her mother received a phone call from the same person, admitting to being drunk. “Call out everyone who was there for a confrontation. Or are these people your employees so you think you can act with impunity?” Zhao said during the livestream.
The matter first came to light on December 31, 2024, when a friend of Zhao’s revealed that she often woke from nightmares after a failed audition. Rumors claimed the incident happened during a 2019 audition in Beijing, but Galaxy Cool Entertainment called those allegations “completely untrue” and said they were reviewing online comments one by one.
Zhao also stressed that her mother usually records all conversations with the man in question. “What makes me even angrier is that they just deny it. They deny everything. Denial is fine,” she said with clear frustration.
