Following the China launch, Honor rolled out the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro globally on Thursday, May 22, 2025, as reported by Bizzbuzz.news. The new series features advanced technology and AI capabilities aimed at enhancing photography and overall performance.
Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro Specifications and Features
The Honor 400 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, delivering strong performance and power efficiency. It sports a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 5,000 nits, offering a clear and responsive viewing experience.
The Honor 400 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a larger 6.7-inch AMOLED display with the same resolution and refresh rate for a wider and smoother visual experience.
Both models feature a 200-megapixel main camera supported by AI technology to produce ultra-clear and artistic portrait photos. The Honor 400 Pro adds a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), plus a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera for wider shots. The Pro variant’s front camera is a 50-megapixel sensor, while the Honor 400 has a 50-megapixel front shooter paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide rear camera.
Battery capacity for both phones is 5,300mAh, sufficient for full-day use. The Honor 400 Pro supports fast wired charging up to 100W and wireless charging up to 50W, while the Honor 400 supports wired fast charging up to 66W. Honor claims the Pro model can charge from zero to 51% in 15 minutes and maintain at least 80% battery health after 4 years of regular use.
The Honor 400 Pro carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, whereas the Honor 400 meets the IP65 standard. Both phones offer comprehensive connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and dual SIM support (Nano + eSIM).
Pricing starts at GBP 399 (around $499) for the Honor 400’s 8GB+256GB variant, with an 8GB+512GB version priced at GBP 449 (around $561). The Honor 400 Pro starts at GBP 699 (around $874) for the 12GB+512GB model, with a top-tier 16GB+1TB option also available.
Both models run MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, integrating Google’s Gemini AI Assistant and other AI-powered features such as AI Eraser, AI Outpainting, and Image-to-Video conversion via Google Cloud.
