LayarHijau – Exactly one year after the passing of the late Barbie Hsu, her memorial statue was officially unveiled in a ceremony attended by her husband, DJ Koo, along with family and close friends from the entertainment industry. DJ Koo’s presence during the event was a deeply emotional moment, as he had faithfully visited Barbie Hsu’s resting place at Jinbaoshan throughout the past year, in rain or shine, demonstrating his profound and touching devotion.
According to “Apple Daily,” after spending a year in Taiwan accompanying Barbie Hsu, DJ Koo is expected to leave Taiwan and return to South Korea to reunite with his mother and sister.

As the Lunar New Year approaches, the memorial and tribute ceremonies for Barbie Hsu were completed with solemnity. Friends and relatives of Barbie Hsu noted that the memorial statue was DJ Koo’s final gift to his wife, offering comfort to family and close friends. The presence of close friends like Kang Won-rae and Siwon, who traveled from abroad, helped make this farewell more peaceful and brought some solace to DJ Koo’s heart.
With Lunar New Year celebrations drawing near, it is unlikely that DJ Koo will remain in Taiwan. He is expected to return to South Korea to celebrate the holiday with his mother and sister.
