LayarHijau – Guli Nazha recently shared a playful side of Hou Minghao behind the scenes of the historical drama Glory. The actress highlighted the actor’s unique interactions with paparazzi frequently stationed around the set, while also emphasizing their strong chemistry and professionalism on camera.

Hou Minghao Friendly with Paparazzi

While many celebrities feel uneasy around paparazzi, Nazha revealed that Hou Minghao takes a relaxed and friendly approach. “You can clearly see them. They often disguise themselves with green straw hats, like they’re in a battle game. But Hou Minghao just chats with them,” she said.

Nazha added that Hou likes to ask lighthearted and curious questions, such as how much the paparazzi earn or whether they endure mosquito bites for a single photo. She explained that his curiosity reflects the general inquisitiveness of the crew, creating a fun yet professional atmosphere on set.

Chemistry and Professionalism Shine

Beyond his humor, Nazha praised Hou Minghao’s efficiency. Having worked together before, they required no long adjustment period, making filming smooth and productive. She also noted that his appearance perfectly suits costume dramas and wuxia, reinforcing both his experience and visual fit for the genre.

Spontaneous Ideas to Enhance Characters

Nazha recounted a spontaneous moment on set when she suggested a scene involving removing shoes to maintain the story’s rhythm. Although initially deemed “too aggressive” by the director, the idea was ultimately approved as it strengthened her character Rong Shanbao.

Even with moments of laughter, Nazha emphasized that they remain focused on script and character emotions, ensuring top-quality performances for the audience.
