LayarHijau – Actress Zhao Lusi is once again at the center of public attention. Following the success of her latest drama Love’s Ambition (許我耀眼), her popularity has surged — and so have online insults and malicious comments. On the night of November 20, her new studio suddenly issued a legal statement on Weibo, announcing that they have officially filed lawsuits against 17 accounts that have long spread defamation and personal attacks. The firm move quickly sparked heated discussion, with fans and many netizens showing full support and calling Zhao Lusi “the boldest goddess in the entertainment industry.”

According to the official statement released by Zhao Lusi’s studio, several internet users have, for months, repeatedly posted degrading, mocking, fabricated, and personally attacking content. Such actions have harmed Zhao Lusi’s reputation and her right to personal image — a standard legal term referring to the misuse or unauthorized use of a person’s likeness. The studio stated that these behaviors clearly constitute violations of the law. Their legal team has completed the evidence-collection process, and the case has now been formally filed for legal proceedings.

The studio also emphasized that this move is “only the first step” in protecting her rights. They demand that the involved accounts delete all infringing content and immediately stop spreading false information. Otherwise, they will continue to pursue legal responsibility without leniency. At the same time, the public is urged to remain rational, avoid spreading rumors, and help maintain a healthy online environment.

Industry observers noted that the move comes amid rumors about Zhao Lusi’s departure from her former agency “Galaxy Cool Entertainment” and her supposed shift to “Tiger Whale Entertainment.” Although unconfirmed, discussions about the transition have intensified — and this decisive legal action is seen as a sign that she is strengthening the management of her public image.

After the statement was released, netizens overwhelmingly voiced their support. Comments included: “She should’ve sued them long ago,” “The internet is not a place beyond the law,” “She’s finally standing firm,” “So glad she took action,” “Don’t let a single one get away,” and “The boldest goddess in showbiz.”

According to Jimu News, the statement specifically listed 17 accounts that frequently posted illegal or harmful content about Zhao Lusi. One of them was a Weibo account named “猴子勿擾,” which translates to “Don’t Disturb, Monkey” in Indonesian. The account had only 18 followers and, according to platform records, had already been restricted from following others due to violations of Chinese law or the Weibo Community Guidelines.
