LayarHijau – South Korean actress and former After School member Nana is receiving an outpouring of support from the public after she and her mother became victims of an attempted armed robbery at their home in Guri, Gyeonggi Province.
On November 16, the Guri Police revealed that a man in his 30s, identified as A, had been arrested on charges of attempted armed robbery. The suspect allegedly entered a luxury villa in Acheon-dong around 6 a.m. while carrying a weapon and demanded money from the residents.
At the time of the incident, Nana and her mother were inside the home. The two reportedly fought back and managed to subdue the intruder before immediately contacting the police. When officers arrived, the suspect was found injured and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Sublime, Nana’s agency, previously released an official statement:
“Early this morning, a robber armed with a weapon broke into Nana’s residence.”
The agency continued, “The intruder entered the home carrying a bladed weapon, creating an extremely dangerous situation that posed a serious threat to both Nana and her mother.”
They also addressed the injuries sustained during the incident. “Due to the intruder’s physical assault, Nana’s mother suffered serious injuries and even lost consciousness. Nana also sustained physical injuries while trying to escape the dangerous situation. Both of them currently require medical treatment and complete rest.”
Sublime added that further details could not be disclosed as the case remains under active investigation.
