LayarHijau – The controversy surrounding 19-year-old rookie actor Hu Lingchen, who abruptly walked off the set of the short drama Love Brain (戀愛腦), continues to spark heated debate. After Hu defended himself by claiming the script contained too many kissing scenes that he couldn’t accept, his co-star, actress Li Ziying, has now spoken out and revealed her side of the story.

In a video, Li Ziying angrily accused Hu Lingchen not only of leaving the production without permission but also of kicking her before storming off. “If you want to leave, just leave, but before walking out he even kicked me!” she said.

Li Ziying broke down in tears while responding to Hu Lingchen’s earlier remarks, in which he suggested she was unfit for the female lead role. “What does he mean, I’m not suitable to play the female lead? He doesn’t want to kiss me?” she cried.

According to Li, Hu had shown signs of disengagement since the very first day of filming. “He kept playing on his phone, and every time there was a kissing scene, he insisted on using camera tricks or ‘borrowed kisses’,” she explained. Although the crew reluctantly accommodated his requests, the filming atmosphere remained tense.

The situation escalated when Hu suddenly left the set after a day’s shoot, abandoning even his assistant. The following day, the crew was informed that the male lead had been recast.

As a result, the production team was forced to rush through filming. “We had to finish 80 episodes within five days,” Li revealed in frustration. She admitted she fears the final product won’t live up to audience expectations. “We truly gave our all, but there’s no way to start everything over again.”
