LayarHijau – Liu Yuning has recently found himself back in the spotlight, not only for his skyrocketing popularity through dramas such as A Journey to Love (一念关山), The Double (珠簾玉幕), The Prisoner of Beauty (折腰), and A Dream Within A Dream (书卷一梦), but also because of rumors targeting his private life. In the past few days, speculation has spread online claiming that he is romantically involved with his manager, Niuniu.
During a livestream, Liu Yuning lashed out and firmly denied the allegations, calling those who spread the false stories “disgusting to the extreme.”
“My manager has been married for more than ten years. Her husband’s name is Qiuge. He isn’t part of my team, but he helps me a lot with both work and daily life. Every time I leave or return to Beijing, the person who drives me to the airport is Qiuge. When I work out of town, I even entrust my dog, Dami, to his parents,” Liu explained.
He stressed that Qiuge has always treated him exceptionally well, which makes the rumors all the more unbearable. “Someone who has been so kind to me, and now because of these lies, how am I supposed to face him?” he said angrily.
Liu also recalled that similar rumors first surfaced in 2019, though they were limited in scope and he chose to ignore them. This time, however, the gossip has snowballed and spread widely, leaving him visibly shaken. At one point during the livestream, he fell silent from anger before lashing out again, condemning the rumors as “utterly disgusting.”
The singer-actor declared that he will be pursuing legal action. “Suing those who spread false rumors has never been urgent, but this time, just wait. My team has already collected evidence, and as always, we won’t bother with lawyer’s letters—we’ll go straight to legal proceedings,” Liu said firmly.
