LayarHijau – On August 11, Zhao Lusi went live and openly challenged her agency, Galaxy Cool Entertainment (Yinhe Kuyü). She revealed that when she first signed her contract, she never intended to rush into fame. During the broadcast, Zhao said, “If it really doesn’t work, then let’s connect and have a PK battle. You can just wait for me to pay the contract penalty, no problem. But first, let me curse you out to my heart’s content.”

In Chinese livestream culture, “PK” comes from the gaming term “Player Kill,” which originally referred to a duel between players. On live platforms, it’s used to describe an interactive duel between two hosts, where they compete to earn the most virtual gifts from viewers within a set time. The host with the highest score wins. The feature has since become popular outside China as well, though it’s more often referred to as a “battle” or “duel” on international platforms.

Recently, Zhao Lusi has been largely absent from screens due to her fallout with the agency, instead spending her time interacting with fans through daily livestreams. She was previously labeled a “green tea” (a slang term for a woman who appears sweet and innocent but is perceived as cunning) after producer Yu Zheng, years ago, implied she was ungrateful.

At the time, Yu Zheng felt he had helped Zhao’s career, but when checking his social media feed, he noticed the actress seemed to have disappeared from it. He then posted a photo of a cup of green tea on social media, sparking public speculation. Although Zhao later tried to explain the situation, Yu Zheng remained unresponsive, and the “green tea” label stuck.

In her latest livestream, Zhao not only clapped back at netizens but also addressed multiple rumors. She even spoke directly about the “green tea” incident, saying bluntly, “This is all a setup!”

According to Zhao, someone in the entertainment industry told another person (referring to Yu Zheng), “Zhao Lusi’s so famous now, she doesn’t even acknowledge people anymore. She even deleted your contact and blocked your account.” Zhao explained that her Weibo account doesn’t have a Moments feature, so when the person saw a blank page, they assumed she had blocked them. In reality, Zhao claims it was all a trick meant to frame her.
