Those who are going downhill, go downhill.” Netizens quickly interpreted this as a jab at Ren Jialun, implying that his career is declining while Bai Lu’s is on the rise. This comment fueled even more fan wars, with Bai Lu’s supporters posting comparison charts between the two actors, mocking Ren Jialun’s alleged career slump.
Ren Jialun’s fans pushed back, accusing Yu Zheng of trying to divert attention from the negative reviews of Feud. They pointed out that Ren Jialun’s career remains strong—he recently wrapped filming for the major period drama Silent Tides (风与潮) and has received praise for his performance in the fantasy drama Perfect Match (佳偶天成), both of which have boosted his popularity.
