LayarHijau – Concern spread across social media after Yi Du Jun Hua (一度君华), the author behind the popular novel The Starry Love (星落凝成糖), suddenly posted a plea for help on the night of November 13. In her alarming message, she claimed that someone posing as “Li Xinjun, a Taoist from Baiyun Guan in Beijing,” had been harassing and threatening her using what she described as “high-frequency electromagnetic interference” directed at her head and heart. She said the individual forced her to write a will and restricted her to just one hour of sleep per day, leaving her on the verge of mental collapse.

What confused readers even more was that only a few hours before publishing the urgent message, the writer had posted that she was safe. She explained that she had experienced a “legend-like” episode during her days of disappearance, decided to temporarily halt her updates, and assured fans not to worry. That reassurance immediately flipped into a cry for help, intensifying public concern.

On November 14, Jinjiang—the platform where she has published many of her works—confirmed that they had contacted her family. Around the same time, netizens discovered a post from Yi Du Jun Hua’s younger brother, who stated that she was currently accompanied by family members. He suggested that she had likely fallen victim to a psychological scam, a manipulation tactic that places the target under emotional and mental pressure. He added that the family plans to gather evidence for a formal police report.

Her posts sparked widespread anxiety among readers. Some fans also noticed that despite her distressing messages, she had still updated her creative column on Jinjiang, adding further confusion to the situation.
