LayarHijau – The Chinese entertainment industry is in mourning after actor and singer Yu Menglong was confirmed dead on September 11 following a fall from a building in Beijing. According to Sohu Entertainment, police have ruled out any criminal activity in the incident.
The news spread quickly, prompting an outpouring of grief from fellow celebrities who took to social media to share their condolences.
Actress Yang Mi wrote, “Fourth brother, may you be well in the other world.” Guli Nazha expressed disbelief: “I still can’t believe it, you were so good!” Liu Yuxin added, “I can’t believe it! When we first met, you were so sunny… I hope you are well in the other world.”
Chen Zhipeng reposted the obituary as a tribute, while Yin Xiaotian recalled their last meeting in 2023: “I can’t believe this is true. I hope you are at peace there.”
Gan Wei shared a long and emotional message: “Heartbroken!!! Last year, we promised on WeChat to meet more often. I never thought that would be our last exchange. I’ll never forget the first time we met—you were in a pure white T-shirt, so quiet and elegant. May there be no pain in heaven, rest in peace!”
