LayarHijau – Allegations of a hit-and-run involving actress Jin Chen have once again attracted public attention. She is also reportedly linked to an insurance fraud case. Authorities have formed a special investigation team to handle the matter, while Jin Chen and Jin Chen Studio have yet to issue any official statements.
On the afternoon of January 29, journalists from Zheng Zai Xinwen attempted to contact Jin Chen’s parents. After understanding the purpose of the inquiry, both chose to hang up and did not provide a response.
Previously, media reports indicated that on March 16, 2025, Jin Chen was allegedly involved in a traffic accident while driving in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. She is said to have left the scene and concealed the true circumstances, sparking speculation and public concern.
According to China News Service, the accident took place in Lingxia Village, Hutang Street, Keqiao District, which falls under the patrol jurisdiction of the Keqiao Traffic Police Team, Shaoxing. When contacted on January 29, local police stated, “Questions regarding this matter should be directed to the bureau. An investigation team has been established by the Keqiao District Public Security Bureau.” Journalists subsequently reached out to the Keqiao District Public Security Bureau, but as of publication, no official response had been received.
Media outlets including Zheng Zai Xinwen, China News Service, and Langzhang News continue to monitor developments in the case.
