A netizen reported that on March 16, 2025, a traffic accident occurred in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, involving a car. Jin Chen is alleged to have been the driver. According to circulating information, after the accident, Jin Chen reportedly asked her assistant to handle the situation on her behalf, while she herself left the scene immediately.
The accident involved China Ping An Property Insurance Co., Ltd. On January 29, staff from the Shaoxing central branch told Da Wan News reporters that after verifying the rumors surrounding “Jin Chen Allegedly Involved in a Hit-and-Run,” the insurance company carried out standard on-site inspection procedures. During the process, the client (Jin Chen) decided to withdraw her claim, and the company officially cancelled the report in accordance with procedure.
Additionally, journalists contacted the Keqiao Traffic Police in Shaoxing, and an officer stated, “The Keqiao District Public Security Bureau has formed an investigation team. Any developments will be officially announced by the authorities.”
