LayarHijau – Chinese actress Jin Chen is back in the spotlight after being linked to an alleged hit-and-run incident that surfaced on social media on January 29, 2026. According to Jinyun News, a source familiar with the case revealed that on March 16, 2025, Jin Chen was driving a car when she was involved in a traffic accident in Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province.
Following the incident, Jin Chen reportedly asked her assistant to take responsibility on her behalf, while she left the scene immediately. She is also alleged to have concealed the true details of the accident from relevant authorities, raising suspicions of insurance fraud. As of now, Jin Chen and her management team have not issued any official response.
In an effort to clarify, reporters from China Blue News contacted the Shaoxing Traffic Police, Konan Unit. The police stated: “This accident did occur last year in our jurisdiction. The traffic accident report circulating online is authentic. The case is currently under investigation.”
In addition, several entertainment media outlets have released a CCTV screenshot showing Jin Chen at the scene of the accident. This image has intensified public attention on the case and sparked widespread discussion on social media.
