LayarHijau – The fantasy drama Love on the Turquoise Land, starring Dilraba Dilmurat and Chen Xingxu, aired its grand finale last night. Nie Jiuluo and Yan Tuo join the elite Nan Mountain Hunters on a perilous mission to storm the Earth Demons’ hidden fortress in Jinmen, leading to a high-stakes confrontation filled with betrayal, heartbreaking sacrifices, and one final duel against their ruthless leader, Lin Xirou.

(Spoiler warning: major ending details below)

As they infiltrate the base, Xing Shen’s true intentions are exposed. He only teamed up with the others to obtain the mythical Nuwa Flesh, believed to grant the power of resurrection. His selfish move triggers waves of Earth Demons and the monstrous human-demon hybrids known as Di Ba, forcing the Nan Mountain Hunters into a desperate fight for survival.

Yan Tuo is shot and collapses, Feng Mi is killed by a Di Ba, and Yu Rong is gravely injured. To protect the last survivors, their commander Jiang Baichuan gives his life on the battlefield.

Facing impossible odds, Nie Jiuluo takes the forbidden “Mad Blade” drug used by the Cang Tou soldiers. After sharing one final embrace with Yan Tuo, she opens her eyes again — transformed into a deadly, emotionless weapon. Her brutal combat style and fierce gaze leave even viewers stunned by her power. Meanwhile, tormented by his own sins, Xing Shen drags Xiong Hei into the abyss of Heibai Jian, sealing both their fates.

The showdown comes down to Nie Jiuluo versus Lin Xirou. They stab each other at close range. Nie Jiuluo falls lifeless, while Lin Xirou remains on her feet — seemingly victorious. But in the moment of utter despair, Nie Jiuluo’s biological mother, Peike, returns from the chasm and decapitates Lin Xirou, turning the tide and ending the war.

Nearly all the Nan Mountain Hunters are gone. Yan Tuo escapes Jinmen with only a sliver of hope left. Peike places Nie Jiuluo into the Nuwa Flesh to rebuild her body. Yan Tuo endures excruciating agony — pain equivalent to childbirth — just to help bring the woman he loves back into the world.

Nie Jiuluo is resurrected… but her memories of Yan Tuo have vanished. All she recalls is a dreamlike farewell with her mother that leaves her in tears.

Yet Yan Tuo never gives up. Patiently, he stays by her side. They begin writing their “star diary” again, piece by piece rebuilding what was lost — until her memories finally return. She gently holds his face and murmurs:

“It’s been a long time.”

The two share a passionate kiss on the same bench where they once crossed blades — a sweet, romantic ending after a journey filled with pain and loss.
