LayarHijau – The 2025 iQIYI Scream Night was held in Macau with the theme “Powering Up with Love, Scream Out Loud”. The event featured a star-studded red carpet, award presentations, and the Scream Carnival experience. This annual celebration honored the year’s most notable achievements in dramas, films, and variety shows across six major award categories. Popular titles from the variety show lineup were recognized, including Hahahaha Season 5, The Blooming Journey Season 2, and Become a Farmer Season 3 as the Outstanding Variety Shows of the Year. Dong Xuan and Wan Qianhui received the Award for Annual Variety Show Performance, while TenDay brought home Annual Variety Group and The Blooming Journey took home Family Variety Show of the Year.
In the film section, Bleed for Past was awarded Annual Online Film, while The Shadow’s Edge, AI short film competition winner My Home is Under the Fireworks, and several other works were named Outstanding Films of the Year. Tong Liya and Tony Leung Ka-fai won Actress and Actor of the Year. Yang Zi earned Director of the Year for the film category, with Duan Aojuan and Wang Anyu named New Power Actors of the Year. In the overseas unit, TOP was crowned Asia-Pacific Newcomer Group of the Year, Zhang Ruonan received Asia-Pacific Outstanding Actor of the Year, and Meng Ziyi was honored as the Asia-Pacific Popular Artist of the Year.
In the drama unit, accolades were distributed to some of the hottest titles of 2025. A Dream Within A Dream (书卷一梦) was included in the National Hall distinction alongside Moonlight Mystique and The Demon Hunter’s Romance. This Thriving Land won Drama King of the Year, while Silent Honor earned Annual Influential TV Series. Liu Yuning took home the Screaming Actor title, Bai Lu was named Screaming Actress, and Yang Mi secured the title of Screaming Actor of the Year. Actors and characters with strong fan support were also recognized: Zhang Linghe won Most Popular Actor of the Year, while Li Landi and Zeng Shunxi were awarded Young Actor of the Year.
Many other performers also shined during the ceremony: Deng Wei received Popular Actor of the Year, Sun Qian and Ao Ruipeng were recognized as Influential Actors of the Year, and Li Yitong claimed one of the Actor of the Year titles alongside Li Xian, Qin Lan, Guo Jingfei, and Jessie Li. Hall of Fame honors were presented to several drama titles including Under the Skin 2, White Olive Tree, Love of the Divine Tree, and The Wanted Detective. The Tribute Unit awarded Yu Hewei as Person of the Year and honored Liu Heping with Outstanding Artistic Contributions — closing the celebration with recognition for their significant impact on the entertainment industry.
