LayarHijau – WeTV, the streaming platform under Tencent Video, successfully hosted its flagship showcase WeTV Always More 2026 – The Future Is Always More on November 19 in Jakarta, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The event allowed WeTV to share its platform strategy, upcoming creative collaborations, and connect more closely with fans.
The celebration was energized by a star-studded lineup, including Marshanda, Giorgino Abraham, Maxime Bouttier, Aisyah Aqila, Anthony Xie, Davina Karamoy, Raihaanun, Saskia Chadwick, Alexandra Gottardo, Zoe Abbas, Haico Van der Veken, Nino Fernandez, Hana Saraswati, Marcell Darwin, and Marcellino Lefrandt. Two top Chinese stars and WeTV Global Ambassadors, Zhou Yiran and Meng Ziyi, were also present, warmly greeting fans in Indonesia.
The event highlighted WeTV’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading streaming platform in Southeast Asia, with Indonesia as a key growth market. During the showcase, WeTV introduced a lineup of upcoming WeTV Original series set to release next year. Performances by RAN, Gen1es, and host Edric Tjandra added to the vibrant atmosphere, enhancing the connection between WeTV, talent, and fans.
Febriamy Hutapea, Country Head of WeTV Indonesia, emphasized the importance of delivering high-quality local stories. “With over 50 original series already released, next year we aim to launch 10 new titles in collaboration with local creators and production houses, ensuring Indonesian stories can compete and be enjoyed at a regional level,” said Febriamy.
The upcoming WeTV Original titles include Samuel, Married With a Young Girl, Kelewat Batas, Sex, Love & 10 Million Dollars, Catatan Cinta Sonya, Cinta dari Asrama, 12 IPA 4, and Fake Idol. These series span genres popular with Indonesian audiences, from romantic dramas and comedies to teen stories and thrillers, broadening WeTV’s content offerings in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia.
The event also featured the WeTV Awards, recognizing talent through both fan-selected and WeTV-chosen categories as a gesture of appreciation. The winners are:

A highlight of the event was the presence of WeTV Global Ambassadors Zhou Yiran and Meng Ziyi. Beyond meeting fans, they promoted their upcoming projects with WeTV.
Zhou Yiran will star in Generation to Generation (江湖夜雨十年灯), while Meng Ziyi will appear in three titles: San Xian Mi Hui (三线迷回), Tigers Sniff the Rose (尚公主), and Blossoms of Power (百花杀). Their visit offered an important opportunity to showcase these flagship series to international audiences, especially WeTV fans in Indonesia.
During the lively fan meeting, both stars enjoyed interacting with attendees through chit chats and interactive games. “This is my first time in Indonesia and I was really surprised to see so many fans welcoming us from the airport. I felt incredible warmth,” said Zhou Yiran and Meng Ziyi.
In addition to the enthusiastic fans, both stars shared their enjoyment of Indonesian culture. Zhou Yiran particularly loved local cuisine, especially fried rice, while Meng Ziyi was captivated by the country’s architecture and atmosphere.
