LayarHijau – The highly anticipated new drama starring Dilraba Dilmurat and Oliver Chen Xingxu, Love on the Turquoise Land 《枭起青壤》, is currently airing on Tencent Video and WeTV. In an exclusive interview with Sohu Entertainment, the lead actor shared surprising details about his co-star, revealing two fascinating and contrasting sides of Dilraba Dilmurat’s personality.
Strong Aura and Intensity On Set
Chen Xingxu was quick to praise Dilraba’s professionalism and dedication. He emphasized that whenever she was on the set of Love on the Turquoise Land, Dilraba exuded a “very strong aura” and demonstrated an “extremely serious” approach to her work.
He noted that the contrast was immediately noticeable: “She works in a way that is different from her everyday life,” said Chen Xingxu, adding that he admired her performance, particularly during the dramatic action sequences.
A Quirky, Fun-Loving ‘Little Girl’ Off-Camera
Despite her intense focus on set, Chen Xingxu revealed that Dilraba is much more relaxed and playful behind the scenes.
“In her private life, she is a quirky ‘little girl’ who loves to do ‘abstract’ things,” he explained, referring to her humorous and unpredictable nature when not acting.
This striking difference made their filming experience dynamic. The topic of their physical preparation led Chen Xingxu to discuss their mutual interest in healthy eating.
Oliver Chen admitted they shared snack recommendations. “Yes, because I eat those fitness snacks—the kind that are very low in fat and low in calories, like matcha mochi—but they are very low-cal and low-fat. Dilraba also thought this snack was quite good. She recommended her dried sour yogurt to me, but I knew it was very sour, so I didn’t dare try it,” the actor recounted.
Very Light, Yet Powerful
Chen Xingxu also touched on Dilraba’s physical attributes, particularly after their iconic scene where his character performed push-ups while carrying her. He confirmed that Dilraba was “very light.”
However, he quickly added, “I know she has great strength.”
