LayarHijau – The fantasy-romance costume drama Sword and Beloved (天地剑心) held a fan event in Beijing on October 31, 2025. Main cast members Cheng Yi, Li Yitong, Guo Junchen, and Chang Huasen attended the event to meet fans and promote the series.
Cheng Yi exuded noble charm in a dark velvet jacket decorated with beads, while Li Yitong looked ethereal in a light green strapless chiffon gown, appearing like a fairy who had wandered into the mortal world. Guo Junchen appeared stylish in a black leather coat, and Chang Huasen gave off a mature and warm aura in a white suit paired with a turtleneck sweater.
After introductions, the four actors played games with the audience and handed out special gifts. Li Yitong even prepared hand-knitted scarves as heartfelt presents for fans. Cheng Yi and Guo Junchen further energized the event with a live duet of the Sword and Beloved theme song, drawing loud cheers from the audience.

During the Q&A session, Cheng Yi described his character, Wang Quan Fugui, as “powerful, charismatic, but not tragic—carrying a touch of elegant madness.” Li Yitong jokingly added that if her character, Qing Tong, were to come to the modern world, she would take Wang Quan Fugui to visit the scenic Daming Lake in Shandong.
Chang Huasen responded humorously to fans who dubbed his character “the cute dog,” saying he appreciated the nickname because it showed their affection. He also revealed that in upcoming episodes, his character’s true form—a sand fox—would appear, showcasing an unexpectedly adorable side.
Sword and Beloved tells the story of Wang Quan Fugui, the heir of the prestigious Wang Quan family, who was raised by the “Yi Qi Meng” alliance to become a living weapon against demons. Bound by strict codes and beliefs that all demons are evil, he grows up knowing only duty and obedience—until he meets Qing Tong, a “spider demon” who infiltrates his clan’s stronghold as a spy. Their encounter shakes Fugui’s convictions, as Qing Tong proves far more complex and compassionate than he imagined.
As the war between humans and demons intensifies, Fugui begins to question the true nature of good and evil. When the dark secrets behind the “Yi Qi Meng” alliance are revealed, he must decide whether to remain a weapon without a will or to forge his own path. Through that struggle, Fugui and Qing Tong develop a deep bond that transcends race and fate—an emotional journey of love, freedom, and redemption.
