LayarHijau – After four years of dating, Shawn Dou and Laurinda Ho got married on April 18, 2023, in Bali, Indonesia. Their wedding took place at the luxurious Six Senses Uluwatu resort, overlooking the stunning ocean. The three-day event, held from April 17 to 19, was attended by more than 100 guests, including family and close friends from the entertainment and business circles.

The wedding was considered one of the most lavish of the year, with estimated costs reaching around USD 13.7 million (approximately HK$50 million or S$8.5 million). The entire resort was rented for the occasion, and 120 security staff were hired to ensure the event ran smoothly. Laurinda Ho, daughter of the late casino tycoon Stanley Ho, wore a bridal gown by renowned designer Vera Wang, while Shawn Dou donned a classic tuxedo.

Speculation about their relationship started resurfacing around Laurinda Ho’s birthday this year. Shawn Dou posted a congratulatory message, but Laurinda only responded several hours later, raising questions about the harmony of their marriage.

Rumors intensified after Madam Xiang (Xiang Tai) mentioned a divorce issue during a live broadcast. Xiang Tai, wife of Hong Kong entertainment tycoon Xiang Huaqi, is known as a vocal socialite who openly comments on celebrity life. She referred to a “wealthy daughter” having a dispute with an actor and mentioned that the wedding costs were entirely covered by the groom, nearly depleting his savings.

Although Xiang Tai did not name anyone directly, netizens speculated that she was referring to Shawn Dou and Laurinda Ho. The rumors once again drew attention to the private life of the couple, who were previously known for their harmony, and fans are awaiting an official statement from both parties.
