Rumors intensified after Madam Xiang (Xiang Tai) mentioned a divorce issue during a live broadcast. Xiang Tai, wife of Hong Kong entertainment tycoon Xiang Huaqi, is known as a vocal socialite who openly comments on celebrity life. She referred to a “wealthy daughter” having a dispute with an actor and mentioned that the wedding costs were entirely covered by the groom, nearly depleting his savings.
Although Xiang Tai did not name anyone directly, netizens speculated that she was referring to Shawn Dou and Laurinda Ho.
