Short dramas, typically concise and focused on specific themes, have become a favorite form of entertainment for young actors and established stars alike.
Yang Zi revealed on the show Hello Saturday that she regularly follows Cocoon Breaking (破茧序章) and always tries to guess the culprit in each episode. She also pays special attention to female-focused short dramas, such as Her Day and Night (她与她的她).

Zhang Ruoyun mentioned on Mao Xue Wang that short dramas serve as great lessons in scriptwriting, analyzing the storytelling rhythm of Your Trap (步步深陷). Zhou Yutong stated in an interview that she enjoys the artistic atmosphere of short dramas like Spring Day (春日微醺) and collects several indie short dramas.
