Behind the Glamour of Paris Fashion Week: Dilraba’s Two Dramas Pulled From Schedule, Fans Slam Management

LayarHijau – Chinese actresses Dilraba Dilmurat and Angelababy recently dazzled at Paris Fashion Week, both channeling an elegant “black princess” vibe that captivated fans and the media. But while the Paris runway glowed, Dilraba’s drama career back home took a sudden hit. Two of her upcoming dramas, Sword Rose and Love on Turquoise Island, were abruptly pulled from their original release schedules. Frustrated fans have since turned their anger toward Dilraba’s management, accusing them of poor handling of her career.

Paris has been bustling with stars this week, with top celebrities attending various fashion events. Dilraba, often hailed as the Xinjiang beauty, wowed the crowd at a brand event in a black rose-patterned evening gown that hugged her figure, paired with a delicate pearl necklace. However, her appearance wasn’t without drama — some fans misread the event schedule and ended up waiting six hours under scorching sun and sudden rain. One even wore a frog costume to catch her idol’s attention but ended up collapsing from exhaustion.

Angelababy, who had already turned heads a few days earlier at the same event, made another appearance in a similar black gown. Surrounded by cheering fans wherever she went, she truly looked like a princess stepping out of a fairytale.

But back in China, Dilraba’s luck wasn’t nearly as sparkling. Her drama Sword Rose, originally slated to premiere today, July 12, suddenly lost its slot to the crime series The Narcotic Operation, starring Duan Yihong and Yu Wenwen. Sword Rose has now been postponed to July 28. What’s more frustrating for fans is that Dilraba’s Paris trip itself was tied to Sword Rose promotions, with the “Rose” theme subtly used throughout her fashion week appearances.

Another blow came when Love on Turquoise Island, Dilraba’s other anticipated project, was also pushed back — this time from the summer holiday season to a November release. Fans have been expressing outrage online, accusing the industry of sidelining their idol and leaving her projects neglected.

The frustration didn’t stop with the rescheduled dramas. Fans also criticized Dilraba’s management for failing to release any official photos from her Paris trip, despite multiple requests from her supporters. Many slammed the team for inefficiency and even called for Dilraba to fire her current manager.

In stark contrast, Angelababy’s team acted swiftly. Not long after her appearances, her social media accounts were filled with carefully curated photos, each one showing off her style and grace. She also shared a rare glimpse of her family life, posting a sweet moment with her son Little Sponge, whom she brought along to Paris during his summer break. In the photo, Little Sponge is seen tugging at her dress, prompting Baby to joke, “Caught me rushing to work.”

Young stars Yang Chaoyue and Chen Feiyu also made their mark in Paris. Yang Chaoyue stunned in a black sequin gown with a dramatic train and sleek pulled-back hair — a sharp departure from her usual cute image. She gave fans a sneak peek of her runway prep during a casual livestream in a fluffy bathrobe. Meanwhile, Chen Feiyu rocked an ankle-length leather coat and blonde hair, effortlessly pulling off a cool, edgy look.
