LayarHijau – Zhou Keyu is currently enjoying a surge in popularity following his performance alongside Michelle Chen in the drama Sniper Butterfly. Since its release, the series has generated strong public discussion and significantly boosted Zhou Keyu’s profile. Riding this momentum, he is now rumored to be teaming up with Dilraba Dilmurat in an upcoming drama titled After Entering a Cyber Game, Killing the Boss and Successfully Rising to the Top, a project widely seen as having strong hit potential.

In Sniper Butterfly, Zhou Keyu and Michelle Chen portray a romantic relationship despite a notable real-life age gap. Nevertheless, their on-screen dynamic was widely praised for its emotional credibility. Zhou Keyu’s performance, particularly his expressive interactions with his co-star, helped make the relationship feel natural and convincing to viewers.

The drama’s success has had a direct impact on Zhou Keyu’s career. Within roughly one month, his social media following reportedly increased by more than 300,000. His appearance fees for commercial events also rose significantly, from around 300,000 yuan to approximately 500,000 yuan per engagement. These developments have led many observers to view him as one of the fastest-rising young actors in the industry.

In addition to projects that have already aired, Zhou Keyu is also attached to several upcoming dramas that are yet to be released. One of them is Shadows of Desire, in which he stars opposite Zhao Qing. Although the drama has not premiered, it is frequently mentioned as part of his growing project lineup and career expansion.

After Entering a Cyber Game, Killing the Boss and Successfully Rising to the Top is adapted from a popular web novel by Chinese author An Bai. The story centers on Kui Xin, portrayed by Dilraba Dilmurat, a game player who becomes trapped in a cyberpunk world that is later revealed to be a real parallel universe. Beneath her identity as a federal fugitive, she also operates as a double agent infiltrating the investigation department.

Set in a world where super-powered individuals, cybernetically enhanced humans, powerful conglomerates, and artificial intelligence coexist, Kui Xin navigates between the game world and reality. Operating under the codename “The Reaper,” she hunts specific targets to acquire abilities. Amid escalating conflict, she joins forces with an AI named Adam—rumored to be played by Zhou Keyu—to uncover a major conspiracy surrounding the fusion of the two worlds.

The drama’s cyberpunk setting is regarded as one of its key strengths. Its portrayal of a high-tech future marked by stark social inequality remains relatively rare in Chinese television, giving the project a strong sense of novelty.

From an industry perspective, current trends have also worked in Zhou Keyu’s favor. As many popular male actors increasingly insist on sole leading roles, young actors with flexible positioning and rising visibility have become highly sought after. If his collaboration with Dilraba Dilmurat is confirmed, Zhou Keyu’s career trajectory is widely expected to reach a new level.

Notably, Zhou Keyu and Dilraba Dilmurat are not complete strangers. The two previously appeared together on the variety show The Truth Season 3, giving them prior interaction before this rumored collaboration—an element that has further heightened public anticipation.
