LayarHijau– Hong Kong was shaken by a devastating fire that swept through the Tuen Mun district’s Hung Fuk Estate, claiming hundreds of lives, injuring many more, and leaving numerous residents without homes. In response, well-known figures from China’s entertainment industry quickly stepped up to offer financial support.
Stars such as Jackson Yee, Zhou Shen, Yang Zi, and Xiao Zhan each donated around 1 million yuan (approximately US$138,000). Xu Kai, Han Geng and his wife Lu Jingshan, Zhao Yazhi, Karena Ng, Janice Man, and Samantha Ko were reported to have contributed between 200,000 and 500,000 yuan. Meanwhile, Han Hong’s charity foundation delivered a significant 10 million yuan (about US$1.38 million) to aid the relief efforts.
A list of celebrity donations circulating on social media then sparked heated discussion when users noticed one prominent name missing: Dilraba Dilmurat. A simple comment—“Why don’t we ever see Dilireba’s donations?”—quickly snowballed into controversy.

Some netizens argued that although she is often praised as a top star, Dilraba seems absent when it comes to social responsibility. But her fans swiftly defended her, insisting that she has always preferred to do good quietly. They pointed out that during the 2021 Henan floods, she donated 500,000 yuan, and that she was among those who gave through Han Hong’s foundation after recent earthquakes in Gansu and Tibet.
Even so, criticism persisted. Skeptics compared her contributions to those of other A-list celebrities who have commonly donated at least 1 million yuan to major crises. Others even revived an old moment from a variety show—where she gifted a dictionary to a young child—to mock her as being stingy.
Fans responded by highlighting Dilraba’s history of low-profile philanthropic work carried out under the pseudonym “Miss D.” They emphasized her involvement in visiting orphans, supporting people with disabilities, and helping children with hearing impairments. Supporters also noted that Dilraba has previously spoken about going through long periods without steady acting projects, making it unfair to judge her solely by donation amounts.
At the same time, some users cautioned that any donation lists spread online may be incomplete or subject to updates. Many celebrities choose to give anonymously, meaning the absence of a name should not automatically be taken as proof of inaction.
As of now, Dilraba has not issued any official statement regarding the controversy surrounding her alleged lack of contribution to the Hong Kong fire relief efforts.

Check your data please, before putting it out. No need to even defend her- she donated nearly a million through charity fund, there is an article from this fund. And as you said she is the person who does not put such information about donations on her front page, she is doing such stuff privately, compared to other stars who brag about it everywhere and it makes it already pride not charity.
China’s population is around 1.41 to 1.42 billion, and the one they’re complaining about is Dilraba for not giving enough money? Are you bloody serious?
