LayarHijau – The death of Chinese actor Yu Menglong on the 11th of last month has sparked discussion after authorities were perceived to have quickly closed the case and limited information. Some videos and audio clips circulating online suggested that Yu Menglong may have experienced mistreatment, and recently a screenshot of a “Yu Menglong autopsy report” appeared on Weibo. However, according to Star EBC report, many netizens have raised concerns about inconsistencies in the report and believe it may not be official.
The circulated screenshot states that the autopsy was commissioned by the Jiangtai Police Station in Chaoyang District, Beijing. The case acceptance date is listed as September 13, 2025, with the determination date on September 14, 2025, conducted at Autopsy Hall 1, Beijing Shengtang Judicial Appraisal Institute. The examiner reportedly confirmed the deceased as Yu Menglong, a 37-year-old male.
According to the report, the body showed signs of trauma to the skull, multiple fractures in the left ribs, pericardial effusion, liver lacerations, and scratches on the lower body. The report speculated that death could have resulted from trauma to certain parts of the body.
Netizens have highlighted several concerns. First, there are sections of the report that appear nearly identical. Second, the content closely resembles an autopsy report from 2012. Third, earlier reports stated that the family only received ashes, raising questions about the origin of the current report. Finally, no one has confirmed seeing Yu Menglong’s body in person.
Netizens hoping for official clarification have called for the halt of sharing unverified autopsy reports to prevent public confusion.
