According to recent reports, Zhang was seen at an emergency room in a Beijing hospital with visible facial bruises and scabs on his nose. A witness claimed he appeared slow in movement and might have been injured by a wine bottle. Not long after, he was reportedly spotted in the mediation room of a police station. These sightings sparked speculation online, with many netizens questioning whether a physical altercation or dispute had taken place.
Their turbulent relationship has long been a topic of public debate. Since they were first photographed holding hands in 2021 and later made their relationship official in August 2022, Zhang and Ma have faced repeated breakup and reconciliation rumors. Though they reportedly split again in April 2025, Ma was recently seen waiting for Zhang in a parking lot, leading to further speculation that they may have rekindled their romance.
Netizens have expressed concern over Ma Sichun’s choices in love, criticizing her for being “too love-driven” and questioning why she continues to be involved with Zhang, whose public image has long been controversial.
